Everything about Old Dominick Distillery is 5 stars! The staff is friendly and welcoming, the bar is open and exciting, the distillery tour is fun and informative and the spirits are top shelf! We booked the "Making the Memphis Spirit" tour, which takes you from start to finish, grain to bottle, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! I wish I remembered our tour guides name, she was wonderful and very knowledgeable for only having worked there one year. Special shout out to Matt for a little behind the scenes tour! The tasting after the tour takes you from the clear stuff to the famous Toddy so you get a little of everything. We enjoyed a cocktail at the bar afterwards and left with a couple bottles from the gift shop. The barrel aged gin is absolutely wonderful and unique, make sure you try some!

“This distillery is young and vibrant!”

This distillery is young and vibrant! From the moment you walk in, you know they mean business. We were taken on a wonderful tour of the facility by Kate who was fun and passionate about the work being done. Spoiler alert - they have vodka and gin that are to die for in addition to their wonderful, upcoming Tennessee Whiskey. We do admit that the Memphis Toddy was our favorite given its unique taste & we bought a bottle to indulge in at home. We couldn’t recommend this distillery and tour enough - please go visit!

I gave it 5 stars because I can't give it 6. We did the tour, Keith was our guide, he was just awesome, he knew his stuff, he was funny, polite, informative and someone I could be friends with. Afterwards, at the tasting, we indulged in a few other products, which we subsequently purchased. If you are in Memphis, even if you are only passing through, stop in, do the tour, buy stuff and tell Keith the two Aussies say hi.

FAQ

Distillery tours are offered every day. From Sunday to Thursday, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, and 5:00pm. Friday and Saturday, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm, and 6:00pm.

Tour tickets may be purchased online up to sixty days in advance, and until 15 minutes before the desired tour time. We recommend booking tours online, as we cannot guarantee availability for walk-ins. Once a reservation has been booked, the Old Dominick Distillery team reserves the right to contact the guest regarding the reservation.

Just steps away from our original building, Old Dominick’s 150-year-old story is back and ready to be shared. Our tour lets you see firsthand the dedication–and passion–put into every bottle. Experience our spirits for yourself and even learn recipes from our experts. See our state-of-the-art distillery and learn about what makes Old Dominick and turn-of-the-century Memphis so special. The Old Dominick Distillery tour is a 1-hour sensory journey that begins with the history of Old Dominick and our founder Domenico Canale, an up-close view of our extensive grain to glass craft distilling facility, and ends with a curated tasting of Old Dominick’s portfolio of spirits.  After the tour, pull up a barstool at The Bar and enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail, made entirely from Old Dominick spirits.

We ask that guests check in at the front desk at least 10 minutes before their scheduled tour time. We cannot guarantee an alternate tour time, and refunds will not be issued for late arrivals.

Please bring a government-issued ID and comfortable shoes. To be eligible for a military discount, please bring a military ID or DD214.

For bookings of 10 or less, a full refund will be provided for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled tour time. For cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the start of a scheduled tour, no refund will be given. To reschedule your tour time, please call 901-260-1250 or contact us.

A full refund will be issued for large group bookings of 11 or more, provided the cancellation is made at least 1 week prior to the scheduled tour. It is the policy of Old Dominick Distillery to remain open during most periods of inclement weather: however, where extraordinary circumstances warrant, Old Dominick reserves the right to close the facility. Should the facility close and tours and other activities be canceled, the cost of a tour ticket will be refunded. Old Dominick reserves the right to cancel or delay tours at any time due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Parking is available on site, at no charge. Handicap parking is also available in the parking lot next to the Distillery.

Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk.

The Old Dominick Distillery tour is open and accessible to all visitors, including wheelchair accessibility.
