Why an Old Dominick Single Barrel?
Every Old Dominick whiskey barrel contains a unique story, its contents defined and refined by wood and char and differing Midsouth weather patterns from year to year. Its location in our aging loft, down to the humidity rolling off the Mississippi river. Each barrel is considered a fingerprint of our story and legacy, which we’re proud to share through the Old Dominick Single Barrel Program.

What is a Single Barrel Program?
Our single barrel (or “barrel pick”) program invites whiskey and bourbon lovers to share in the heritage of Memphis whiskey, Tennessee Bourbon, and the Old Dominick Story. This program allows guests to experience the unique flavor profiles that come from a single barrel — its unique age, proof, and mash bill—with the guidance of an Old Dominick bourbon expert.
Through the personalized process of connecting with and choosing a barrel that speaks to you. You’ll sample from barrels of Tennessee whiskey, high rye Tennessee bourbon, and wheat whiskey at different ages, proofs, and placements in our aging loft. When you’ve selected your barrel, Old Dominick assists in bottling, labeling, packaging, and shipping your single barrel.

How is a single barrel different from other Old Dominick whiskey?
Our beloved “core four” whiskeys are multi-barrel batches of the same mash bill that are then blended and proofed before being bottled. When we blend barrels, we’re combining elements and flavors from multiple barrels into a more consistent flavor profile expected of our Tennessee Whiskey, high rye bourbon, and Bonded whiskey.
Because no two single barrels of whiskey are exactly alike, selecting whiskey from a single barrel (rather than batching and blending) allows guests the unique opportunity to bottle a one-of-a-kind whiskey and share their selection.
• WHAT IT IS •
Who is the single barrel program for?
Old Dominick welcomes all of-age whiskey and bourbon lovers to participate in our single barrel program. We collaborate with retailers seeking their next store pick, organizations looking to raise money for a great cause, corporations that want to offer unique gifts to employees, and bourbon groups that want to do something special with their members. Not sure if this is the right move for you? We love to brainstorm. Contact us so we can talk about your single barrel ideas!
